2. Categories of Data Processed

We process:

• Public Authority Rating Ledgers: Commercial entity names, rating account references, property hereditament addresses, and published overpayment credit balances released under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
• Ratepayer Verification Data: Director names, verified corporate email addresses, telephone numbers, and digital signatures submitted for the execution of statutory recovery mandates.
• Banking Remittance Details: Corporate sort codes and account numbers provided exclusively for municipal refund settlement.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process data under Article 6(1)(b) (Performance of Contract) when executing mandates and requisition orders, Article 6(1)(f) (Legitimate Interests) when cross-referencing public rating ledgers to alert commercial ratepayers of uncollected sovereign credits, and Article 6(1)(c) (Legal Obligation) for statutory accounting.
