Terms of Service & Recovery Mandate

1. Parties & Definitions
These Terms govern the provision of rating audit, documentation, and recovery agency services by Verified Entitlements Commercial Division trading as CouncilCredit (“we”, “us”) to the business ratepayer or its appointed representative (“Client”, “Ratepayer”).
2. Service Pathways
2.1 Statutory Requisition Pack (£149): We provide a bespoke digital document compilation including formal demand notices citing SI 1989/1058 Reg 9(4)(a), direct revenues contacts, and corporate indemnity templates. Delivery is made electronically immediately upon payment. No further contingency fee applies to the £149 pack.
2.2 Contingency Recovery Mandate (20%): Where instructed under digital mandate, CouncilCredit acts as recovery agent to submit formal demand, reconcile ledgers, and follow up with the relevant billing authority. Our contingency fee is strictly 20% + VAT of the gross amount successfully refunded or credited by the billing authority.
3. Statutory Free Route Confirmation
The Client acknowledges and confirms having read the Statutory Free Route Disclosure pursuant to SI 1989/1058 Regulation 9(4)(a), acknowledging that overpayment refunds may be sought directly from billing authorities without cost or agency representation.
4. Authority & Representations
The signatory represents and warrants that they are a duly appointed Director, Officer, or legal representative of the ratepayer entity entitled to execute documents and receive funds on behalf of the company.
5. Billing & Descriptor
Payments are processed via Stripe UK. Bank statements will reflect transactions under the authorized merchant descriptor: VERIFIED* COUNCILCREDIT.
